Our Anchorage Coastal Cruise Bike Tour allows you to experience the wild side of Alaska’s largest city on a leisurely 9.5-mile guided ride. The tour begins with a ride through the urban wilderness of Kincaid Park.
This incredible place is over 1,500 acres of forested hills nestled on the coastline where moose, bears, bald eagles, and other incredible creatures are often spotted. And you start your tour surrounded by history, not just wilderness. This was once a Cold War Nike Hercules Missile site!
In addition to Kincaid Park, we also visit Earthquake Park. Here, we bike through some of the lasting devastations from the 1964 Earthquake. The ride then ends at Westchester Lagoon, a waterfowl sanctuary.
This Anchorage coastal bike trail offers views of five different mountain ranges, so there are plenty of opportunities for incredible photos along the way. And as we ride, your guide shares fascinating facts and stories about the region’s natural and human history.
NOTE: This is not an electric bike tour.
In the afternoon, join your Hoperator as they escort you off the beaten path to some of the finest breweries in Anchorage. This experience is as much about the history of Alaskan beers, the masters who brew them, and the locals who drink them as it is about tasting the beers themselves.
The tour includes a minimum of 14 beer tastings from three different brewery stops. With a selection of appetizers at Midnight Sun Brewing Co. to enjoy, roundtrip transportation, and four hours of fun and fascinating stories, you’ll have plenty of memories to share with friends back home.
