I had a great morning mountain biking Kincaid park! It was absolutely worth it to book a tour. The gear was in great shape and my guide Carl was awesome.... read more He gave me tips when needed and also shared his impressive knowledge about local geography and flora and fauna. Great opportunity for moose spotting, too! 10/10 would recommend Alaska Trail Guides.

We did a new tour called the Moose head Tour. Just over 50km. Starting from town. We were collected a little bit before we completed the loop because of time.... read more Was a great loop, several trails joined up with a few road and suburb sections. Saw a moose. Guide Noah was a great young guy. A few ups and downs and given the 30 mile or so distance you need some cycling ability.
My husband was sceptical about us bike riding in Anchorage - firstly - we're in our 60's and secondly - we haven't been on a bike for a few years... read more plus I'm extra cautious and was concerned I'd be pushing the bike rather than riding it. Frankie and Elly put our fears to rest as soon as we met them. A quick shuttle to our starting point, some clear pointers on safety and riding and a few practice loops had me feeling more confident. The 2+hrs of cycling went so fast (even though I didn't). I felt like I reconnected with my young teenage years as we cycled through stunning woods (all on easy paved cycleways), stopped to watch a huge moose with rack to match and learnt how to watch and read the signs they give out regarding their intentions. Thankfully - he just kept eating after a cursory look at us. Great to understand more about the 1964 earthquake and stand and see where the land dropped away. All in all the best time - fun, educational and well worth the investment. Thank you Elly and Frankie for making it such a great morning and giving me the confidence to ride :)
This was an excellent tour. the guides know the area and are happy to share their knowledge. It is an easy ride and very safe for even a novice rider.
This was our inaugural fat bike ride. We had a fun exhilarating beautiful ride in the Chugach mountains. There was cloud cover early and it cleared up for the ride... read more back. We were surrounded by beautiful views. Carl provided excellent guidance and short stories about the plants, wildlife and riding. He takes great pics too. We highly recommend this trip, guide and area. Enjoy !!
