We stopped periodically to sip our water, appreciate the views, and learn some Anchorage history.

Little did we know how great... read more this experience would be. Our guide Van and driver Dan were super nice and helpful. They got us set up with bikes, helmets, and gloves and off we went. The ride is about 10 miles long, mostly flat or downhill, along the coast through beautiful trees and coastal foliage. At several stops along the way Van described the trees, plants,wildlife and scenery we were seeing. We also stopped at a memorial to the 1964 earthquake that was very interesting. This is an easy ride for all skill levels and a great way to see the coast. We even saw belugas in two different spots! We all agreed this is a great trip and heartily recommend it.
